I enjoyed ABOVE AND BEYOND because of the protective, by-the-book Secret Service Agent Nick getting to be the protective detail to the president’s sister, Isabelle, and her twin sons.
The book has Nick doing his best to remain the professional but showing us the chips in his armor the more he gets to know Isabelle and her boys.
The story has the suspense and intrigue that kept me reading. The romance was good but hard to pinpoint when the two actually fell in love.
