NOT YOU IT’S ME is a whirlwind of activity from the first pages. Gemma is an unconventional and really amusing characters. How she and Chase meet is the stuff romantic fantasies are made of.
And all is not as it seems. The author cleverly reveals the layers of secrets our characters hold as the plot unfolds. There is plotting, jealousy, crazy exes and the inevitable gala where Gemma fails to avoid the well known romance novel/gala pitfall of going to the ladies room. Nothing good ever comes from going to the ladies room in a romance novel.
So I was invested in this story from start to finish. The subsequent books in the series sound good, too.
