I really enjoyed this book for Wes and his kids, but mostly for Betsy who was such a force for this family despite having practically every other thing she tried to do fail.
THE ONE I WANT is a story you’ll want to read if you like the single dad that is focused on his children’s happiness in the face of what his ex-wife did to their family when he retired from professional football. He moves back to his home town to get help from his family while he finishes his career. Betsy moves to Rolling Hills at the same time after being “cut off” by controlling parents.
The book made me want to go back and read Whitney and Jake’s story and the other books connected with Rolling Hills.
