I loved this book! The HATE MAIL exchanges between Slade and Campbell as they grow up are so funny in the midst of a story that is so tense, poignant, and, at times, tragic.
I loved Campbell’s spirit and heart. Slade is an enigma and I’ll leave it at that because the beauty of this book is just getting immersed in it and letting it unfold. This is certainly one of my favorite books this year. I won’t forget it any time soon.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
