If you are a fan of hockey romances you will like THE WEDDING WINGER for the team camaraderie and the family vibe. There is not a lot of the game itself since most of the story takes place in the off season.
Clara is an interesting character and I loved her mom persona with her daughter Katie. The author managed to get the right feel for the creative logic of a five year old. Her interactions with Sly were a fun part of the story.
It’s a good unrequited love-type second chance romance. I read an advance copy of the book from the author. This is my voluntary review.
