Complicated circumstances kept Megan from returning home for Christmas for the last 5 years. Christian is the family anomaly and wants them to stop focusing on his relationship status. After a chance encounter these acquaintances from the past reach for the obvious solution: the holiday fake relationship.
While the trope is overused for a holiday story, this was an entertaining one. The family dynamics and social stigmas were clever enough to keep me reading. The author nurtured the romance so we were all invested in how it turned out for Christian and Megan.
