One Frosty Pucking Meet Cute by Penelope Bloom

What I liked most about the books is there are so many likable characters that each have a unique role in the story.

Jesse is an injured NHL player spending his rehab time in a cabin where he grew up. Five other hockey players are keeping him company there during the holidays. His down for a lot of reasons, but things start getting interesting when Andi, his best friend’s sister, ditches her wedding and crashes (literally) into the holiday hub of Jesse and his teammates.

Andi is the good kind of sunshine.  She’s funny in a charismatic and playful way. The guys pick up on Jesse staking claim on Andi despite his refusal to acknowledge he is interested. There’s the brother, their pasts, his job, her home and every other reason for them not to be together, so we enjoy the dance that takes place waiting for them to get out of their own way.

I look forward to seeing more stories about the other guys and the women they have been waiting for.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
