Cormac is a great character in COMBAT especially if you like the stoic, loner that is a deep down softy with the people he loves.
Lucy has what appears to be the strangest kind of enemy - a wedding stationary designer competitor. It starts out with Lucy hiring Cormac for. Wedding Expo the competitor made threats about.
But after that seeming uneventful, all heck breaks loose, and Cormac takes Lucy to his very secure “fortress of solitude” where things start getting tense between them predicting some fiery spice.
Between the family, friends and uncovering the mystery behind Lucy’s stalker, COMBAT is a good book.
