Sacred Vow by Measha Stone

SACRED VOW is a best friend’s sister mafia romance that hits the spot if you like bossy over the top spicy men and stubborn, independent women.

I thought the progression of the relationship could have been more convincing on the emotional level, but there is no shortage of steamy encounters. Both Andrei and Isolde are extremely pig headed and the conflict that arises between the two is primarily from Andrei wanting to keep her safe while she fights letting him do that.

The reason Isolde returned to Chicago after 7 years is intriguing and compelling.  It has its flaws, but the fact is, I could not put the book down until I finished it.
