TOXIC LOVE is the opening novel of a new series and a new family - the Blacks so far. Tempest is just like her name suggests - impulsive, volatile, and quite clever at times. Her family knows and hates Dante from events of the past that we hope to learn through the course of the story.
The plot is refreshing! It’s got some clever elements that really make the steamy romance of an arranged marriage take a different turn. Dante’s ownership of Venom, an adult club, sets the stage for quite a few characters to be exposed, in a manner of speaking.
I kept reading because you never knew what Tempest was going to do next, and what she did was usually entertaining. Good book!
