Devious Vow by Jagger Cole

Alistair is crude, rude and so entertaining in a very dark way in DEVIOUS VOW. The story has a bit of a dual timeline going on when Alistair and Eloise met, made a boat load of misunderstandings, and hated one another on other sides of the country for 10 years.

But Eloise turns up in Alistair’s law office - with her mafia husband, Massimo. From there it is game on, but we start wondering early on who is making the rules in the game.

So as a dark romance, it hits all the mafia high notes - thugs, abuse, dead bodies, a little fight club stuff, and second chance love between two people that thought they had reasons to hate each other.  I loved the suspense, the spice, and the taboo themes. There was never a dull moment.
