Worked Up by Laura Olsen

WORKED UP fell a short of the description. The “work” part was not that accurate. Very little of the story involved interactions with work. The conflict in the story didn’t ring true for me. There seemed to be too many drawn out scenes that could have worked to advance the plot more succinctly.

The atmosphere of the story was juvenile. The dialogue was neither deep nor sophisticated. If the spicy parts had been deleted, I would have thought I was reading a book intended for a teen audience.
