Bourbon and Lies by Victoria Wilder

What I liked about BOURBON AND LIES was this introduction to the close knit Foxx family this series will be about. They distill bourbon in Kentucky so it was quite educational about the process. Having been on the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky, I was able to really enjoy the scenery and smells described in the story.

Laney’s situation is full of intrigue and having to keep her reason for hiding in Fiasco secret created both conflict and suspense. The ending got a little tedious, but it was otherwise a compelling page turner.
