As a friends to lovers story, RESTRAINT is better than most. Erika and Blake have a very close friendship built on genuinely caring for one another. Blake, living the bachelor hockey player life, is the reason Erika wouldn’t have more.
It’s good story that shows how they finally recognize what everyone else already knows. The book is heavy on the relationships off the ice, and not much actual hockey.
