I read the book before TWISTED PRIDE thinking in the back of my mind how twisted and utterly unredeemable Remo was except when it came to his devotion to his brothers. But then he gets the idea to punish a rival by stealing the promised bride en route to her wedding. Serafina gives as good as she gets and it is a great story of the person Remo kept hidden from everyone but his family.
There is plenty of spice, torture, blood, family betrayal, and rival mafias, so I enjoyed it.
