What made me want to read MEET ME AT MIDNIGHT was the possibilities of the long standing crush Juniper had on her best friend’s older brother. You wonder how they could possibly break out of their roles that started when Juniper was a young girl and Beau would never think of her that way.
So the clever use of modern technology/social media becomes the way to break the wall - but in secret. We know trouble can come from keeping secrets and Juniper,Beau and Avery navigate them in a poignant and amusing way.
Avery is such a wild card in this story, I can’t help but wonder who can tame her, but my opinion of this book is it is an enjoyable, light hearted romantic comedy. I read an early copy of the book and look forward to the next one.
