I like female main characters like Maddie. An introvert, whip smart sense of humor, and top notch snark and sarcasm to cover what she really feels. The book is about saying good bye to her brother Josh with his best friend, Dom. And of course she has a pile of baggage related to Dom and we are treated to a bumpy journey going through that baggage with them. It was well written and capable of tugging at my heart.
