I loved the premise of ONE-STAR ROMANCE enough to pick it up because it had “quirky MFC” all over it, but I really enjoyed it for so many other reasons.
The characters were unique and when they didn’t seem to make sense, they grew to people you wanted know. I particularly enjoyed the technique used to move the story through time - not by following the life milestones of the MCs, but by following their best friends.
It tugs at the heartstrings as it follows Natalie and Rob through the peaks and valleys of their lives.
