There is really only one way to characterize this story and that is with Liam Darcy being the most compelling figure. What goes on in his mind is poetic and sets the tone. What is most obvious as time goes on is the brooding, rude and dismissive demeanor is the mask he wears to cover up the fact that his feelings run deep, not that he has no feelings.
Laney is confident and unfiltered which sets Liam off balance, and then the rest of the dominos begin to fall until they reach his heart. I enjoyed this story.
