This was a good story and the romance between Owen and Ellie was almost unbelievable. He was so good to her and while she made it clear she wasn’t interested in money, she also was gracious and let him enjoy giving her and the girls things without protesting too much.
I did think the dialogue was a little too formal even after Owen and Ellie let down their guard. Some things the children said didn’t sound like something a child that age would say.
It’s great to imagine how much one could do with unlimited funds and this book is a good escape into the land of “what if?”.
