This story had so many funny moments, poignant moments, and inspirational moments. We should all be so lucky to know someone as smart, giving and unique as Winona. I loved her honesty and southern humor.
Blake has secrets revealed through the course of the story that explained a lot about his personality, his work ethic, and the importance of family. He starts out so self assured and cocky, but Winona soon breaks through his public persona and reveals a man that needs the love and affection he lacked as a child.
Kenzie Reed wove a tale that was hard to put down. I fell in love with all of the characters that were part of her little community of neighbors. She may have come from a small town like Peach Pit, but she created the same gifts of generosity among her friends in New York, too. There’s jealousy, misunderstandings, unwarranted blow ups, and jumping to the wrong conclusion that help fuel the fire and drive the story.
