The overall story was a good one. It could have been my mood, but the emotion seemed flat. I was hoping for a little more fireworks in either the encounters with the baby’s mother or in the relationship between Julian and Georgia. I did enjoy the evolution of the feelings Julian felt for his daughter, Ella. That was a special part of the book.
