I was really impressed with MARTINI LUNCH because of how it furthered the stories of the female CEOs of the Stiletto Sisters, and continued the overarching story of the upcoming trial of Viviana for her foreign espionage and murdering Nate’s wife.
The story between Elena and Josh was rich with steam, conflict and the ability to overcome mistrust. They were terrible at communicating and suffered a lot of hurt for that reason. I found the writing to have been different - it just seemed to flow very nicely and had a very natural feel in the dialogue that made reading easy.
The book definitely comes to a conclusion regarding Josh and Elena’s struggles, but the tease about the next book has me already wanting more. Great story!
