Ruthless Rival by L.J. Shen

I wanted to read RUTHLESS RIVAL because I love the successful, ruthless lawyer and someone that works to clean up another’s tarnished image.

But, there is much more to this story since it begins when Arya and Nicholai are 12 and follows the misfortunes of their young relationship until they meet again a decade later.  Well, it sort of goes like that, but you’ll like it a lot better. 

It was steamy and achingly romantic.  It was satisfying seeing both understand why all of their previous encounters with the opposite sex had been so meaningless and unfulfilling.  It even had forbidden relationships, jealousy, and life altering secrets.

I can only hope this is the first of at least three books, because the secondary characters are very intriguing in their own right.
