STRICTLY BUSINESS is a really good story with a unique meeting between Jake and Izabelle, and a great setting at a resort in Sedona, Arizona.
Izabelle is heading to Arizona for an entrepreneur competition she was selected to attend to obtain funding for her business. She goes a week early to work on her presentation and Jake and Izabelle find each other at the same resort.
Izabelle is basically a wreck about the presentation and she spends fun time with Jake and eventually asks him to listen to her pitch. Without revealing a lot of the good stuff, Izabelle has a bad history with being in business with a guy and Jake has a secret he’s keeping from Izabelle and of course that secret is revealed in the worst possible way.
I really enjoyed this book because the romance was so good for these two people who were basically married to their work. Seeing them able to forget work and enjoy each other is what kept me reading - as well as being anxious about what damage would be done when Jake was outed. They had fun together around Sedona and Jake was quite skilled in all things steamy.
It was a good book because the romance had its flaws making it seem so real, then it worked out so well.
