I really liked this book. The story was a twist on a single mother story that I never read before. It also introduces us to the Merrick brothers (and one sister) who are the family in the series.
The background is bull riding and Chase is a cowboy drowning his sorrows by basically being a nomad on the Bull riding circuit. He meets Maddy when he encounters her young so that thinks he’s Riley’s death father.
Sounds like a sticky situation? Well it is when a little boy is told his daddy is riding bulls in Heaven, and he thinks that is just another city on the bull riding circuit.
