ACE OF DIAMONDS starts out with Lyriope in an arranged marriage to join her father’s family to the Sidorovs. She thinks she’ll earn her father’s approval and her place in the Morelli family by going along with this.
Nick has other ideas. He’s turned into one of those protective, possessive men that shows up wherever Lyriope is and rescues or ravages her.
Nick going all out in book 3 what a real treat. I really loved the Alice in Wonderland theme played throughout the series right down to the tea parties. The whole series is dark, steamy and full of Nick’s very particular tastes that come out at home and play out in Wonderland.
