Hampton Lane by Frances Cowie

I loved this book. I am a sucker for a good second chance romance, but HAMPTON LANE went to far beyond a story based on a trope. Following Stuart and Fiona first as overindulgent young adults in Stuart’s world as a rock star and Fiona’s as his girl - sort of.

Of course feelings were hurt as they parted then ran into each other at a christening some eleven years later. The rock star was now a lawyer and the sort of girlfriend a much sought after interior designer.

But can you believe the romance almost takes second place to the supporting secondary plots of which I will leave no detail? Watching this story unfold is truly a joy - with some tears thrown in.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
