In “A Manor of Faking It”, the book about Finn’s romance with Poppy, we learn a bit about Bronte. She was acting up in order to not be chosen over Finn to be the heir of the Dukedom. Well, that didn’t work and she became Lady Bronte.
Bronte continues her “on the fringe” behavior with an American only temporarily in Europe. Ben seems to be an easy going, nice guy enamored with Bronte’s “wild” ways. He seems to awkwardly try to fit in to upper British society functions, but it soon turns out to Ben that is steeped in mystery and his was really the story that kept me reading.
Ben and Bronte are no doubt a hot couple. Each makes it clear from the start they are not looking for a relationship and you know how that’s going to go. If you are like me, you will be unable to put this down until you find out about thirty four, the tattoos, and all that other intriguing stuff.
