The chemistry between Holden and Daisy heats up the pages from the start. It helps that he is so attractive as a bad boy because he is forbidden as Daisy’s brother’s best friend, he’s wicked snarky, and he’s never been one to turn down attention from the ladies.
Daisy is in recovery. From what, you’ll have to find out, but Crystal Kaswell takes this issue and crafts a unique personality layered by what drives her in her illness. Her brother and father think she’s still as fragile as she once was and Holden helps her free herself.
I always enjoy a book where the characters come into their real selves because of their love for each other. Holden and Daisy have a really wonderful story.
