MY NOT SO WICKED EX-FIANCÉ is the best kind of second chance romance - two people that were madly in love and something happens that suddenly causes so much hurt it splits them apart.
The characters were written very well. It was easy to see Shelby was a “southern belle” and Ryder a man of singular focus when it came to Shelby. The story had them reliving the reason for their split and each wondering if the other could put the past behind them and continue for the future.
Meddling parents, grand moms, the pitfalls of money, opinionated friends, and people hoping Shelby and Ryder didn’t get back together for their own interests made this a page turner.
