I wanted to read this book because the couple got married young and had a child them divorced because of career conflicts and time with families. I wanted to root for a family getting back together and doing things better the second time around because “love conquers all”.
I liked the story and characters. I didn’t get emotionally invested in the couple because I kind of felt like John all the time - he didn’t think his ex-wife was being honest with him, but at the same time was no honest himself with what his work was like. I had a bad feeling all the time that they were making another mistake.
You should see if you feel the same way after reading OVER HIS HEAD.
