Accidentally Deborah Garland

Carter and Lily worked together and have a “no strings attached” hot and steamy relationship.  Lily gets pregnant and the differences between her very modest upbringing and free spirit life come up against Carter’s family wealth.

Carter has been living on his own without his trust fund.  His father, however has put him in the role of Crown Prince and expects a strategic marriage to shore up the family empire.

The true test of everyone’s character is when Carter and Lily visit the family home for the weekend.  We see how grounded and caring Lily is and how much love Carter has for his mother.  Best of all, Carter and Lily come to terms with their pending parenthood.

I was completely immersed in the story.  I had a little trouble keeping straight some of the characters that seem to have come from other books.  This story had good drama, attempts to break the couple up, and a suspenseful ending.
