The Breaking Belles series is one of my favorites so I was more than ready for Emmett’s story.
As with each initiation, the mood changed with the characters. I don’t want to give too much away, but Emmett and Bellamy approached the Trials with a different attitude.
This book didn’t focus as much on the Trials as the others did. While the quantity was lower, the quality was excellent. The descriptive writing creates a memorable scene.
From the epilogue, it looks like Walker’s book could be something completely different. The books don’t have to be read in order, but it helps. The first one is my favorite, so don’t miss it.
