Scoring the Boss by Kristin Lee

I liked the overall story. I liked Archer in many ways once I understood what his reasons for shying away from love were aside from being Megan’s boss.

Megan was rather flaky, in my opinion. Without going into specific examples she went from strong to weak, then seductress to a young woman nursing unrequited love. The fact that Archer had prior interactions with her yet had no memory of them was strange.

There were several slow spots in the story that didn’t do much to move the Archer/Megan part along. It was as if the book was trying to accomplish too much. The best parts were jealousy, possessiveness and/or protectiveness because that reinforced the emotions they could express freely otherwise.
