The Redo by Max Monroe

Remy is the Winslow brother Max Monroe fans have had the longest relationship with because we were admiring him when he was helping his sister Winnie raise Lexi before and after her divorce.  We’ve been reminded forever about Charlotte leaving him at the altar so it was long past time for his love story.

THE REDO is an unexpected second chance romance with Remy and his high school sweetheart. Maria’s circumstances are heartbreaking and Remy’s draw to her has parts of their past and present involved.  The story does short flashbacks to Remy and Maria’s early years. They are both in their late thirties/early forties so long past the blushing young lovers of two decades ago.

But the Remy of the present is rapidly making our butterflies flutter with his dad-like affection for Baby Izzy.  He wears the carrier, changes the diapers and Izzy-whispers her through her crying moments.  It’s sweet but also really amusing to watch how smitten he is with this child and how he bonds with his brothers over his newest obsession.  All the while he and Maria are learning how to support one another as their own little family.

So, it is the story we have been waiting for to have Remy’s HEA and put the Winslows solidly into the future with their family and friends (especially Thatch).  It is steamy, weepy, funny and just plain good to read.  I am glad to have received an advance copy of the book from the authors so I could read the book and provide other readers with a review.
