THE REFINER is a book I was able to read in one sitting. Let me tell, though, the waterworks started pretty early in the book. What an interesting conflict from the very start.
Keagan is a smart sassy (minus the s and y) and if I let her, she would annoy me. Astor was the guy that could handle her “crazy”. He was a soother and on the straight and narrow. His previous lackluster life was brightened by Keagan. Good romance and good story.
