DRAKE has it all for me - tortured bad boy, crazy ex, single dad, hockey, strong woman, and two people that insist they don’t need anyone, much less one another. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it.
The chemistry is volatile, starting out as enemies then moving on to casual meet ups for one thing only - and what a thing it is between these two. Brienne easily succumbs to Drakes suggestive talking. Drake takes charge for someone that needs to let someone else be in control.
But when Drake’s boys arrive with his sister, he’s reminded too much of what his ex did to them. Is Drake going to ever trust someone enough to share with his kids? That’s the big dilemma,
