Helly and her brothers are entertaining. She takes a little getting used to with her surly inner dialogue and grumpy attitude. Gary is an interruption to her solitude. Helly takes her unique brand of justice to new levels when dealing with her new neighbor.
The book is a good one and captures the flavor of the Alaskan wilderness. I liked the romance, but also the ingenuity of those choosing that kind of life.
