British Black Sheep by Lauren Smith

What hooked me into reading BRITISH BLACK SHEEP was the idea of our couple meeting on a transatlantic flight just before Christmas. In true grumpy/sunshine fashion, Alec views Christmas as a time of loss and grief. Brie was looking forward to ghostwriting a book about Christmas traditions on a British estate.

The spark was there from the very beginning. The romance was supposed to be “just fun” and end when they both returned to their continents. I liked that the story could have that indecisive “what is love?”note without being maudlin and angsty. I enjoyed it.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
