I know when I get a Whitney G book, I am going to get sucked into an emotional rabbit hole, and that is the case with I WISH I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN YOU. I was really on the edge of my seat on one hand, while simultaneously afraid to look around the next corner on the other in this forbidden romance.
This is so much of a “what were you thinking?” story but told so well. The author has very clever ways of structuring her stories. She also has a way of making me so angry with the characters for their choices then searching for any loophole to forgive them. You won’t be disappointed reading this story, but it is a messy one.
I have been waiting for the advanced copy of this book to come out so I could read it and give my honest opinion on it.
