BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL has two parts. The first part leaves us deciphering a betrayal, breakup, reunion, and danger. It is dual POV and dual timeline, but the past part of the timeline is nonlinear. It’s not my favorite way to have a story told, but I found this to be interesting enough.
Grayson and Mia are all over each other. The story is full of angst, past hurts, protecting each other, and it’s a deep love going on but with a melancholy feel throughout. I’d call it a dark romance.
