The series really has to be read in order or you won’t appreciate the dynamic between Linc, Ari, and now Walker. There is a lot of interaction between characters from the first two books, and I don’t think you’ll enjoy this book without that foundation.
So in THE PUCKING WRONG DATE, Walker is obsessed, protective and OTT like the other guys in the “circle of trust”. In this case his intervention to save Olivia from the nightmare that is her life makes him feel less morally gray than his mentors. I liked the book but it might be getting too overwhelming with the inside jokes and distracting from what we really like about these stories - smitten, obsessive hockey players.
