If You Hate Me by Helena Hunting

I was looking g for a hockey rom-com with players that were real players, and this book overachieves in that area. The humor is kind of crude, locker room humor but in the kitchen, the lift, the bathroom and other non-locker room environments.

Rix has to temporarily move in with quite possibly the world’s worst brother to have to live with.  They share a condo with fellow hockey player and brother’s BFF, Tristan. Tristan has more baggage than a Greyhound terminal but he covers it up with rigorous adult activities.

So even though it’s “hand’s off the annoying little sister”, it’s quite clear no one in this story has any self control. That meant I was all in for this entertaining read.

If you are looking for a “sweet” romance, run, don’t walk, in the other direction.
