I wanted to read CONTRACT LOVE because it was short, but what I ended up really liking about it is that Calix was a whirlwind. He needed a short book to match how decisive and efficient he was. He’s also really funny in a clever way, and he’s big reason why I enjoyed this book so much.
Harlow was weathering one storm after another and Cal turned out to be the shelter she needed.
