BETWEEN THE SHEETS is a small town romance with Hank as the strong, quiet knight in shining armor and Skylar the single mom damsel in distress trying to keep things together for her little girl.
The secondary characters that make up Hank’s family and friends make this a great romance. Hank had to grow up early and carried the burden of his mother’s secrets after she died. He spent so much of his life taking care of others he didn’t know how to put himself first.
Skylar’s daughter Luna adds a lot of funny moments to the story as the adorable precocious child. Skylar has her own secrets that prevented her from trusting anyone other than herself.
This was a good story that makes me want to read more about the family.
