Brightly Burning Bridges by Ivy Wild

I read The Estate and Silas is the villain in that story.  He was bitter, vengeful and wanted to see Carter Ross’ family business ruined.

In BRIGHTLY BURNING BRIDGES, Silas is still a bitter, vengeful man and clearly a bully as well.  We travel back to when Silas was in high school and met Sky and was mercilessly mean to her despite what she did for him.  In typical bully fashion, he did his worst in front of his classmates.

Their cross paths 10 years later and Silas is still the dark, twisted anti- hero, but we learn what makes him tick and that is the fascinating story.  The past plays a critical part in this novel, but revisiting the important events isn’t invasive.  As the plot unfolds you will be impressed.  When it ends, you will be satisfied.
