Gray by Measha Stone

Stories like GRAY are an acquired taste, and among novellas of its kind, it really stands out.  Dorian Gray (yeah, there is a picture) is depicted as controlled and domineering, but the reader can feel the bubbling of the turmoil beneath the surface.  How easily he casts aside his one night stands that don’t measure up but who, in turn, crave him after just one night.

So Sylvia, concert violinist is different.  He has watched her and been mesmerized by her.  He thinks she will meet the same fate as his only women, boring him before the night is over, but the opposite occurs and he must possess and co trip her until it becomes clear who is really controlling who.  It was the perfect amount of detail for the length, feeling like a complete story, but really a novella.
