Happily Ever After by Blair Babylon

All the loose ends get tied up in Book 5 but there are few surprises.  What remains steadfast is Dieter and Flicka’s devotion.

There are more kidnappings, killings, betrayals, and confusing royal lineage protocols to endure in HAPPILY EVER AFTER.  Dieter has to reconcile himself with Raphael and his family.  The fate of the Geneva Trust is determined.  The next Prince of Monaco has yet to be approved by the House of Nobles.

At Midnight by Blair Babylon

The story of Dieter/Raphael and Flicka continue with kidnapping, hostage situation, blackmail, the Russian mob, powerful ex-spouses and danger with a capital D.  This is a great series and I’m glad I am reading it.

In A Faraway Land by Blair Babylon

Dieter, Alina and Flicka making a go of it in Las Vegas as regular people.  Good suspense and treatment of what happened to Flicka at Pierre’s hands.

In Shining Armor by Blair Babylon

About a third of book 2 in the series goes back in time to when Flicka was a child and first met Dieter through her brother and continues through the time he meets his ex-wife Gretchen.  That part of the book was a little slow.

The suspense picks up when a confrontation occurs between Pierre and Flicka.  The various security forces are either protecting her, tracking her, setting up to kidnap her, or trying to kill Dieter.

We are teased with more about Dieter’s big secret as he and Flicka are on a plane to Las Vegas.

Once Upon A Time by Blair Babylon

Cliffhanger.  This is an interesting royal romance with some hint of authenticity in using some current royals and places.  It is also very love triangle-like which is not a favorite trope of mine, but I am willing to see how it all plays out because it is a good story.

One thing really keeping me reading is that I sense one really big mystery surrounding Dieter.  There are a couple Easter eggs that hint to more going on with him.  I also expect his freshly divorced ex-wife to cause more trouble.

I am intrigued enough with how this book ended to move on to the second book.
