The book has the shadow of a relationship (not love) triangle that played a big part in how I viewed the characters. The BRUTAL ARRANGEMENT amounted to Riah, Alex and Hunter using one another and being cruel to one another. I have no problem with morally gray relationships but it was hard to warm up to these characters and enjoy the plot (which I thought was good).

Brutal Secret by Laurelin Paige
BRUTAL SECRET was an entertaining story. It has spice, humor and the conflict is done well. Be prepared for a quirky Lina and first reluctant, then indulgent Reid.
There is an age gap of around a dozen years. The funny part of Lina is a little young at times. While Reid isn’t all seriousness, they balance well as a couple.

Fixed Forever by Laurelin Page
I liked FIXED FOREVER for the plot, the dual POV and the chance to see what happened to Alayna and Hudson a few years after the trilogy. I also said to myself, “I did not see that coming”.
Hudson by Laurelin Page
I had often wondered what was going through HUDSON’s mind in the Fixed trilogy books, so I welcomed this accounting of his past and insight into significant events with Alayna. The two of them were so a like in their mental gymnastics.

Forever With You by Laurelin Page
Alayna and Hudson face their greatest challenges in FOREVER WITH YOU. I can honestly say “I did not see that coming” when it comes to plot twists in this story. Well done. Seeing some of this from Hudson’s POV in the next book will be valuable.
Found In You by Laurelin Page
All through FOUND IN YOU I felt a strong sense of foreboding. Things seemed to be going too well. Trust gets taken lightly. Only seeing Alayna’s view makes it a tense story.
Fixed On You by Laurelin Page
Alayna and Hudson are both fraught with relationship issues. In FIXED ON YOU we have a fake relationship to get Hudson’s mother off his back about marrying someone else. Alayna’s compulsions and Hudson’s inability to love fuel this wildly tempestuous relationship.

Dirty, Filthy Billionaire by Laurelin Paige
Some adjectives for DIRTY FILTHY BILLIONAIRE would include naughty, snarky and entertaining. It’s the novella length that drew me since I didn’t have much time to read, but it was the titillating and teasing antics of both Simone and Steele that made it a worthy use of time.

Brutal Billionaire by Laurelin Paige
Holt is the BRUTAL BILLIONAIRE this book is about and he is brutal! If there was ever a bad boy needing reform, it’s him. He has all the makings of an alpha-hole and he’s not even ashamed of it.
Brystin is really a unique character for this type of romance. Many times we encounter women that are driven by career goals, but Brystin’s situation takes this to a whole different level.
There is smoking chemistry, a guy with a real way with words and skills to back them up. I enjoyed rooting for this couple.

Man In Love by Laurelin Paige
Scott -the player, the “one and done”, the guy who knows the location of a broom closet in every event venue - what happens to him when he finally finds someone he will put before everything else in life?
The second half of Scott and Tess’s story is so good. It keeps the naughty bits coming and adds the conflict of outsiders manipulating a couple’s choices. Read it!
Man in Charge by Laurelin Paige
Scott Sebastian is commanding in the boardroom and hot everywhere else. His path crosses with Tess by chance and by a less than honest means. The nature of their relationship is a steamy push and pull overshadowed by secrets. And what secrets they are!

Wild Heart by Laurelin Page
After reading book 2 and being so proud of myself for predicting the secret revealed in the cliffhanger, I was quickly humble by the shocking twist in WILD HEART. I had figured out one of Jolie’s secrets, but not the big one.
WILD HEART wrapped up the trilogy nicely and I didn’t recognize the Cade from the beginning of the book and the one from the end. It was overall a good series.

Wild War by Laurelyn Page
Most of WILD WAR is about the past - when Jolie and Cade first met. Right off, a startling secret is revealed. We learn more about Jolie’s father and his treatment of them both.
It was necessary for me to know why Jolie didn’t leave with Cade as planned. I had a suspicion, and the cliffhanger proved I was correct, so now I have no control over being sucked into book 3, the finale.

Wild Rebel by Laurelin Page
For the first book in the trilogy, WILD REBEL is chock full of suspense, intrigue, and longing. Cade and Jolie were suppose to run away together when 18, but Jolie ghosted Cade.
Now, 17 years later Jolie wants a favor only Cade can deliver. Both are fighting their attraction because of the hurt they were part of.
Donovan gets involved in the mystery part of the story leading to shady deals, breaking and entering, and tracing the breadcrumbs of the finances of crime.
Interesting ending for this cliffhanger!

P*rn Star by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone
I didn’t know what to expect in a romance between P*RN STARs because I have a real hard time with books that have “cheating” in them and that conundrum was a frequent part of the plot and it was interesting to see how different characters viewed dating people in the business while working in the business.
As you may suspect, this book is really steamy and the emotional investment by the characters in various situations was riveting. The biggest surprise for me was how Logan viewed his work vs his relationships and he didn’t disappoint us with either.
Devi was a really good female character - unbelievably strong but not hard. She was with little avarice and it was refreshing to see a female character not only recognize what she needed, but also remain true to herself no matter the sacrifice.
The elements I like in a romance like jealousy, possessiveness and quirky parents made this book a really good read.

Hot Cop by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone
Two great authors created HOT COP and I loved this book. Chase, aka Officer Good Time” revels in his hot bachelorhood treating “Badge Bunnies” to his exquisite physique and carnal talents. Livia works with his sister at the library mentoring teens and young adults after having sworn off men. She is approaching thirty and decides she wants a baby and contracts with Chase to be the real time sperm donor.
The novel is funny, hot and so very sweet when our couple struggles to keep it to procreating only. Chase thinks he’ll have no problem not being part of his child’s life. Livia is intent on keeping her heart intact and never experience the hurt of losing the man she loves again. So why do they keep thinking of reasons to be together when Livia isn’t ovulating, or the baby has already been made? I loved this story.

The Dirty Duet by Laurelin Page
I’m glad I read the DIRTY DUET as a box set rather than one book at a time. While I did have to stop reading briefly to sleep, it was only with great reluctance I did so.
Obsessive, possessive and kinky alphas step aside for Donovan Kincaid. It’s impossible to really frame the complexity of this character in a few words, but it was such an experience e to watch his complex machinations unfold alongside the day to day events of his everyday life.
The story between Donovan and Sabrina from the time the met in college until 10 years later was decadent, debauched, passionate and epic in its romantic scope. I could go on and on, but your time would be much better spent reading this excellent book.
Sweet Fate by Laurelin Page
This type of romance with a teasing vixen and a man trying to deny his feelings to do what is best for her is always one I want to read but this one is so well written that I was either smiling because of Audrey’s playfulness or getting annoyed because of Dylan’s resistance to his obvious feelings.
This is a really good story with steamy moments that are written with romance in mind, not just to have a steamy moment. I loved it!

Sweet Liar by Laurelin Page
I really love this jaded older man and effervescent younger woman romance. It makes you wonder which one is the SWEET LIAR as the story goes on.
There are all kinds of twists like the ex-wife, the son, and the fact that Dylan lives in London, but we are left with a twinge of hope in the cliffhanger.
